Behind the flavor and fun is a ‘Perfectly Balanced Diet’ developed by our child nutritionist to exceed federal nutritional guidelines. Health e-Lunches are low in sugar and salt and free of hydrogenated oil and artificial colors and flavors.

Health e-History
Health e-Lunch Kids is a privately held company, headquartered in Fairfax, Virginia, and founded by Monica Tomasso in October, 2005.
While working toward an MBA, Monica developed the Health e-Lunch Kids concept. The idea grew out of her love of good food well-prepared (a passion she shared with her mother), an awareness of working families’ need for fast, nutritious meals, and concerns about health and the eating habits of children she loves.
Monica has wide experience in marketing, e-commerce, financial analysis and systems development, most recently having worked 12 years for ExxonMobil. Monica holds a BS degree from American University, MS from George Washington University and MBA from UNC-Chapel Hill.
Committed to an active lifestyle, Monica enjoys running, biking, climbing the Stair Master, Pilates and weight training. Tacos are her favorite food.

For extra healthy tacos, prepare tacos with fish or chicken. If you want the traditional beef tacos, brown 97% lean meat or pork. After browning the meat, always rinse the meat under HOT water to get any left over grease out!
Top your tacos with healthy vegetables like diced tomatoes, lettuce, cilantro and onions. If you are looking to spice up your tacos – add jalapeños, my favorite! Top with homemade, fresh salsa and enjoy healthful, fun eating!
Remember, use hydrogenated free taco shells and taco seasoning!
