Now that spring has finally arrived, here are a few easy ways to meet your physical activity goals while enjoying the great outdoors!

  • Start a walking group with a friend. You will motivate each other.
  • Push the baby in a stroller.
  • Join the office or neighborhood softball team
  • Walk the dog to the dog park instead or driving there.
  • Plant a vegetable garden with your children – Bonus: This is a great way to get kids to try new veggies!
  • Carry your clubs the next time you play golf.
  • Take the whole family for an afternoon bike ride.
  • Walk up and down the soccer or baseball field while watching the kids play.
  • Try a new sport like tennis or swimming.
  • Take a nature walk with the family. Have your kids tell you about their favorite part over your next meal together.
  • Most important – get out there and find something you enjoy!
